Dan Glover

Associate Musical Director

Dan Glover gained a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Edinburgh before going on to train at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts for a diploma in musical direction.

Recent credits as Musical Director: Holding On: A New Musical (Workshop, Lyceum); Spring Awakening (Arts Ed); The Bodyguard (Festival Theatre, Ljubljana); Grease (UK Tour/Dominion); Legally Blonde (Urdang Academy); Nativity! (UK Tour/Hammersmith Apollo).

As Assistant/Associate: Cruel Intentions (The Other Palace); Eugenius (Turbine); Cats (International Tour); The Sound of Music, The Wedding Singer, Avenue Q (UK Tours); American Idiot (Arts).

As Arranger/Orchestrator: A Little Night Music (Storyhouse, Chester); A Foreign Field (Workshop, Fortune); Top Hat (Upstairs at the Gatehouse) and a number of projects for Acquire, a musical theatre choir based in Glasgow.

As a composer, Dan’s first full-scale musical The Beast recently received its world premiere at Sterts Theatre, Liskeard as part of a flagship Arts Council-funded production to open the brand-new theatre space. His music has also been featured on a number of national and international TV programmes, including a recent episode of BBC’s Countryfile.
